FOUNDER & CEO

Marcelo Cavazzoli

Marcelo Cavazzoli is an Argentine entrepreneur, and the founder and CEO of Lemon. He started programming at the age of 12 and studied Computer Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires. He has founded multiple apps, videogames and three startups. After winning an ETHGlobal LATAM hackathon award in 2018, he merged retail and blockchain by creating Lemon to enable millions of people living in the region to use crypto in their daily lives.

Maximiliano Raimondi

After a career spanning over 25 years in finance, he specializes in deepening the interaction between traditional finance and crypto, building interdisciplinary work teams to take companies to the next level. He was the CFO of the content platform HSM/WOBI and also CFO at Wolox.

COO

Federico Biskupovich

An Industrial Engineer from the University of Buenos Aires, he’s been COO of Lemon since the beginning of the company, focusing on process management and developing new markets. Previously, he spent four years at Tenaris, a leading supplier of steel pipe and services for the world’s energy industry.

Our Story

In 2019, Marcelo Cavazzoli founded and launched Lemon, an app designed to make cryptocurrency simple and accessible. The company raised USD 66 million in investment rounds led by Kingsway Capital, Goodwater Capital, F-Prime, ParaFi, and Valor Capital, among others.

With the launch of the Lemon Card in 2021, Lemon brought the crypto revolution to retail users’ wallets, disrupting the traditional financial system through blockchain technology. The company now has 5 million users across Argentina and Peru and is expanding into new markets in Latin America.
